I drive a 71VW Bus, I was driving it across the county... It obviously broke down. I pulled in at 5:45pm on a Thursday. Instead of closing the doors and heading home for the night, they pulled apart wheel/spindle and we assesses what was going on and how fast we could get it up and running the NEXT DAY! They worked all day finding and machining a new spindle for the van and had me back on the road by friday evening. This. Never. Happens. with a VW in the middle of Idaho. These guys greeted me with a laugh (myself included) a smile and an honest opinion and expectation of what they could make happen. In my opinion, that is exactly what any mechanic should be doing. I'd stop in to these guys any and every time. They made a bad day into a great one. Thanks AJ, Chris, and those two other guys that were also real awesome! You helped me keep living the dream :) Cheers to you all and don't worry, I'm not trading in the van for one of those tiny rental cars.. even though I did look so good in it.

The guys at 0500 mechanics are always so helpful, not to mention funny and easy to get along with! They're always trying their best to do their best on your car. We've had some issues with our car and they did everything they could to fix it. When they tried, and it didn't work the first time, they happily took our car back and tried again. They are very honest there, and gave us a great deal when we took it in for the second time. They're great!

When I got my jeep back from them, a piece that was needed was missing. I called and asked why it wasn't replaced, they told me that it wasn't necessary, but in fact it was. So I wrote a bad review and they called the next day to sort things out. I am happy that they stood up and took responsibility. They replaced the piece that was missing and all is well now.
